PlayStation Plus Adds Another Trio of “Leaving Soon” Games

PlayStation Plus subscribers may want to check their backlog sooner rather than later: three additional titles have been flagged as “Leaving Soon,” meaning they’ll be removed from the PS Plus catalog in the next scheduled refresh.

The removals affect the Game Catalog lineup available to Extra and Premium tiers (and, depending on region and licensing, potentially Premium-only selections as well). As usual, once a game leaves the service, it can’t be launched through your subscription unless you purchase it separately.

### What’s Leaving PlayStation Plus
Sony regularly rotates content in and out of the PS Plus Game Catalog, but the “Leaving Soon” label is the clearest warning that the clock is ticking. If any of these games are on your to-play list, now is the time to prioritize main story progress, clean-up trophies, or finish any DLC you’ve started.

While Sony hasn’t standardized exact removal dates across every territory, departures typically align with the monthly catalog update window. Players can confirm timing directly on their console or the PlayStation Store listing, where the departure notice is usually displayed.

### Why This Matters for Subscribers
Rotating catalogs are the trade-off for subscription value: you get access to a wide range of games, but not the permanence of a traditional library. For players, the practical impact is simple—if you’re mid-campaign, you’ll need to finish before the cutoff or be ready to buy the game to continue.

From a broader market perspective, these scheduled exits also shape play habits, pushing “subscription urgency” much like streaming services do with film and TV. It’s a reminder that PS Plus is best used with a flexible backlog strategy—dip in early, finish faster, and avoid getting caught by surprise removals.
