Silent Hill f Looks Set for a September Release

Silent Hill f may be closer than Konami has officially let on. A new leak suggests the next mainline entry in the long-running survival horror series is targeting a September 2025 release window, with a specific date reportedly attached.

According to information attributed to the leaker known as “Famous Leak,” Silent Hill f is set to launch on September 25, 2025. The same report claims pre-orders would begin on June 4, with Konami expected to formally reveal the date during Gamescom’s Opening Night Live on August 19.

### What We Know About Silent Hill f
First announced in 2022, Silent Hill f stands out from the franchise’s traditional foggy American small-town aesthetic by shifting to 1960s Japan. The project is being developed by NeoBards Entertainment, a studio known for support work on major franchises including Resident Evil, while Konami remains the publisher steering Silent Hill’s broader revival.

Konami has already confirmed a number of high-level details: Silent Hill f is built in Unreal Engine 5, and the story is written by acclaimed Japanese creator Ryukishi07 (Higurashi When They Cry). The game follows teenager Hinako Shimizu in the fictional town of Ebisugaoka as it becomes swallowed by a creeping fog and nightmarish transformations.

### Why This Leak Matters
If accurate, the September timing would give Silent Hill f a strong position in the fall release window, and a firm date would also help fans gauge how quickly Konami is moving after the success of Bloober Team’s Silent Hill 2 remake. Still, until Konami confirms anything—particularly with big showcases like Gamescom approaching—this should be treated as rumor rather than gospel.
